Is there anyway to use attributes such that a product + atrribute results in a new SKU .... for example if im selling weight plates ..5, 10, 15, 20, 25 lb Can I create a single product that will display the available weights as a dropdown such that a selected weight will end up in the cart with a unique sku ...so in other words can unique skus be assigned to different attributes.

Also ...how would it work if they wanted 2 x 5 lb and 4 x 20lb ...can that be entered as a single entry, and then also include the sku for the 4 and 20lb seperately as line items in the cart... ?

Trying to mimise the # of items in the cart as they are the same product , just different weight, but each has its own SKU.
