My temp URL and accessing the Admin...

Hey everyone!

I just installed my Zen on a temporary URL which goes something like this:

http://sever.domain.com/~nr123/store/

The frontend looks great! I modified the /includes/configure.php for this correct temporary url.

Naturally I modified the /admin/includes/configure.php for the same temporary url also but I can't seem to access the admin site at all (?). I seem to get an error message saying something like "the server at this url seems to redirect requests endlessly".

This is a temporary url only because my domain name is not yet directed to this particular server. But I'd like to start learning my Zen before that happens... What's wrong with the picture?

Alright, alright... I get it. No replys means: do a search. That I did. I'm already cross-eyed from reading all these threads but although I found lots of similar problems, I couldn't find an answer to mine.

What other mods do I need to do to get the admin working? As I said earlier, the frontend works fine - I'm able to create an account and log in etc.

The /admin/configure.php has the correct absolute url's in the appropriate places. I am not using any SSL and this was a clean install.

Can this be a problem with the Php Version the server is using??? But that wouldn't make much sense since my Zen is part of the Fantastico package which my service provider is using...
