I have several categories of products which in each category are similar. For example, I have a category of dumbbells of different weights, each product only differing in regards to the price and weight. Same thing with weight plates, and different types of dumbbells and weight plates. I'm mainly pricing them by weight. When I have to raise my prices, I'm forced to go through about a hundred products, calculating the new price based on a fixed price per pound I determine for the category.

Is there a bulk price change tool? Raising a whole category's prices by a % amount would be ideal, but I could also deal with at least having all the products lined up in columns so I can just tab through it to enter the new prices instead of having to do several clicks on each item just to change the price.

I've heard mention of exporting the products table to excel, making changes, and importing it back in, but I was never able to import it successfully.
