Wish I could afford a dedicated host but my site is still just a baby site ;) Until/if it starts to brink enough $ in then it can have it's own server
I will look at what zen-cart has to offer and think it over.

Well, brinkster support says they will try and contact me in about 24 hrs. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Of course I may have to play this game again with them when the next brinkster spammer gets to work![]()
Well brinkster is still working on getting off the blacklist.... but something strange is going on here.
I was able to set up outlook using my brinkster e-mail account information and from outlook I'm able to mail the same yahoo accounts I can't e-mail from zen-cart.
Any ideas out there on why with outlook these mailings get through while directly through zen-cart they are not?

Sending from your online store, the email comes from your Brinkster server ... which as you said, is blacklisted.

I had it in my head because outlook is set up to use the brinkster mail server that it would be the same. So then does my computer's IP address somehow get involved when outlook is used and then when emailing directly from the zen-cart site it uses the brinkster sever IP address?
an update: They say they got removed from the black list here is a transcript of that
-----------------------------
: requests to have our mail servers removed from the RBL have been submitted. I am waiting on feedback on the requests.
: 1/22 -- no update from spam list manager. IP's still blocked.
: 1/22 -- confirmed all IP's have been removed from the RBL.

I double checked with dnsstuff and it is no longer listed there.. what else should I be checking?

This as you stated is not a Zen Cart issue but one of possible blacklisting of your hosts mailserver and one that you should be contacting them aboutI'm still having an issue anybody know something else for me to try?
