Main Page Tab

I have put on a new template for my website. I have changed the tab title to the title of the shop, but on the main page it says HOME_PAGE_TITLE, if I click on another page when it loads the tab changes to the one that I created it is only on the main page that it hasn't. I have changed it in the metatags.php in the template directory I am using and in the main one that comes with the zencart install. Can anyone give me any ideas please.

I just upgraded to 1.3.8a and this is now happening to mine as well - did you find an answer?

No, not at this stage and I have looked through everything. Unfortunately it is for a customer, whose website I created and it makes me look a little silly. If I find it, or you find it, can we let each other know.

I found a post that indicates you need to merge your meta_tags.php file with the one within your "custom" folder. There is new language that apparently won't allow your old file to work on the main page. I didn't do much to mine so after upgrading I just deleted the custom meta_tag file and copied the newly upgraded one into my custom folder and re-edited the info.

I found a post that indicates you need to merge your meta_tags.php file with the one within your "custom" folder. I have tried this and it didn't work, it must be written somewhere HOME_PAGE_TITLE. I have searched through all the files and even in the Developers Tool Kit, but it doesn't find it. Will keep trying.

SOLVED.

The problem is that the meta tags files older than 1.3.8 are not fully compatible, and if you replace the 1.3.8 file with an older one you WILL experiance problems.

Just replace the metatags.php file in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/
with the default 1.3.8 file. In case you havnt backed your file up
Then here is the default file from 1.3.8
Just copy the keywords/title from your old file into the new one but dont replace the actual file.

Thank you for fixing my problem, I had downloaded zencart full and copied and edited the metatags from their files with no luck, so I download the one you put up and it worked!!!! Hurray!!!!!
