"Your cart is empty" with SSL enabled

I just added SSL to my site so I could use PayPal Webpayments Pro. The site is live and all seems well EXCEPT now I get "your shopping cart is empty" when it is not. I did search the forums and tried some code I found, but that resulted in my getting "shopping cart" showing up more than once in the title bar.

If another product is added, the cart shows again, but as soon as you hit the shopping cart link, it says empty. Not sure if significant, but it seems to work sometimes from the cart sidebox when it won't from the title bar link.

I am not a proficient programmer. I can follow instructions and enter code, but do not know enough to figure out exactly what is happening myself. Please HELP!

OMG. I finally give up and ask for help and now it seems to be working. Unfortunately, I am not quite sure how I fixed it. Was trying this and that and now seems okay. Thanks anyway!
