    That sometimes happens when you let the upgrader do more than one step at a time.

    The workaround, for now, is to let it do just one checkbox at a time, unchecking the higher-level steps. You may sometimes need to click the "recheck" button at the bottom to re-check which steps are needed if there are any alerts shown on the screen, since sometimes the checkboxes aren't refreshed in those cases.

    The upgrade said that 72 processes had succeeded but that 12 had failed because the files already existed.

    This is what my version number is now:

    Zen Cart 1.3.7.1
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.8
    v1.3.8 [2008-01-10 15:48:21] (Version Update 1.3.7->1.3.8)
    v1.3.7.1 [2007-07-24 22:26:20] (Fresh Installation)

    Is this a successful upgrade?

    Those are normal informational messages

    Not quite.
    Your database is up-to-date.
    But all the Zen Cart files on your server apparently haven't been updated yet. That's a manual process ... as explained in the documentation and FAQs.
