    application error CC Encryption

    Will Zen store CC number in DB encrypted or plain?
    I need to know it, someone please answer.

    Only part of the CC number is stored in the database. The rest is emailed to you. This is only true if you are using the manual CC payment module. If you are using the gateway, no part of the CC is retained in Zen Cart.

    Only if using the Credit Card - Offline Processing module then only part of the cc# is stored while the middle digits are emailed....ot encrypted but also not a complete cc #

    If using any one of the gateways then no cc# data is stored in your Zen Cart

    SO .... if it's encrypted in your database ... and the CVV isn't in the email you receive from the store ... How do you get this number without calling your customer?
