Does anyone know how to implement grid layout also to "All products" and "New Products" listing sections?

Where need to modify and what?

Yop.. I almost created an own product listing.. I even had to fck up the whole search listing to make it more common.. Now I could reduce it to two layouts for all listing But it's totally hand made and unique..
Maybe If I will have some time I will prepare it to use as a module.. I hope :)

I loaded the column layout/grid and nothing happened. I did all the steps, but still does not show anything on my screen when I go into view product information. I loaded v1.3.8 with the download.
