nav_bar error Admin

Hello everyone,

I was getting ready to launch my sight live this morning and I was going through the tutorial of the things that you should before launching. I tried to rename to admin file as suggested and all seems well until I tried to access my admin page.

When I log to the page all is well and I have the navigation bar and all links but when I try to click on the navigation bar links all I get is a site map type list of what is there. I cannot navigate anywhere on the page.

I have Firebug and it gives me the error "cssjsmenu is not defined" and points to whatever link I am trying to get to (ie: customer orders it will tell me the error is on line 15 of orders.php etc..)

I have changed everything back to the normal admin thinking that may help me with this problem but it has not. Same problem just logging in as usual. That is the only hope I have right now, that I can still log in. I am hoping I have once again done something ignorant and I can save this mess yet.

I do not what to have to start all over and I am fearful that is where I am at. I have read through the message boards, searched them as well, and I have tried to find the fix on the internet to no avail.

Is this hopeless or can this be saved?

What happens if you name it back? Does it work OK?

Did you amend your configure.php files to tell them what you had renamed your Admin folder to?

Thank you for the response. I renamed it and it quit working. I renamed everything back (even uploaded my backup config.php files) and is still not working.

I can log into the admin section and all appears normal but when I try to navigate anywhere I only get the "site map" type listing that will not allow me to access anything.

Any ideas?

You should not have to start over. This still sounds like you have somehow introduced an inconsistency between where your admin files are located and where your admin/includes/configure.php file believes that are.

Can you post there relevant lines from your admin/includes/configure.php file and the actual path on your server to your admin folder?
