FedEx Zones ported from OsCommerce?

Has anyone already ported the FedEx Ship Zones module from OsCommerce to ZC?

I much prefer to use a system like this, that is located on my server, without requiring an api to connect to the shipper's server for a number of reasons. Mostly speed and reliability.
I started working on porting this today, but there are so many differences between the was OSC and ZC handle db calls that I found it to be a bigger job than I had anticipated.
So I was wondering if anyone here has already done this, and if so is there a download link somewhere?

If not, I will continue to work on it when I can, but it will likely be the end of Jan before I can get anything workable.

why bother,

use dreamscapes multi zone multi table you control every aspect of the shipping that way

My bad, I didn't read the post closely enought.

Thought this was about the Fedex Freight Module being ported from OsCommerce.
