UPS Prices Seem Way too High

maybe your compitetion is using a zone rate system with the ups logo on it....

when you get rates from shippers on ZC you are seeing their published rates,

when you go to the site manually you are seeing your Discount Or List rate...

This concerns me. Is there a way to configure ZenCart (V1.3.7) to point to UPS to get the discounted rates that having a UPS account provides? Does the same issue exist with FedEx? We've been given the production keys for our FedEx account but are having problems getting ZenCart FedEx quotes to match what the real costs from FedEx are. We'll look at the tare and handling costs as you describe, but is there a more fundamental problem with getting the right rates when you have an account with UPS or FedEx?

Yes

fedex prohibits you from showing list rates

these are special discounts that are givin to you,

just incase no one has noticed, the shippers them selves are building profit into your business........

last I checked the number at the bottom of the ledger is why we re in business

If shipping prices are too high, try chaning the "UPS Pickup Method" to " RDP"
Daily Pickup shipping prices are lower than other methods.

Hey Thanks colosports that is the ticket. I switched my shipping to flat rate since then, but may go back to that as you don't need to adjust prices for shipping. Changing the UPS method to RDP is very accurate.
