can anyone possibly recommend/suggest an affiliate module to work in integration with ZenCart, to implement an affiliate program, in a store I will be developing.

Don't believe there is a module but this stand alone program is highly recommended: http://jrox.com/
Excellent script, free and will handle up to 50 Affiliates before you need to upgrade to the pay-for version.
