SSL does not work now with SSU turned on. I have checked both configure.php's and my .htaccess. I am not sure but I think this happened around the time that I upgraded from 2.9.6 to 3.4.8.

Today I uploaded the newest 3.5 files reset cache and now pages for the categories show blank. Not sure why it is not working.

You were certainly on the right track. I closed my ftp client Filezilla and started it up again, logged back in and uploaded all files on more time.

There you go... now everything works.

...and I assume version display still does not get updated. Still shows Beta 3.4.5
