Simple SEO URL (OLD version) [support thread]

i am trying some set some link aliases but when after clicking the "Manage Aliases" link i get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function retrieve_aliases()

I am testing 3.6.0 rc5 i have double checked and i think i have all the files in place

any ideas?

Do you use a special product type that is not product_info? What happens when you clear SSU cache? This is a weird behavior indeed. And although FAQ manager may not overwrite anything it may affect that. I will need to check that module to make sure.

today, but it wasn't what I had wanted or expected, so I uninstalled it and followed the directions. I also double checked to make sure I removed all files.

Could this have changed something somewhere? It didn't overwrite any files.

Clearing the SSU cache doesn't help.

Should I try restoring my database to the backup I made this morning?

Actually if I can do this any other way than restoring the database, that would be great. I've had orders come in since then and would have to mess with the tables.

Would either of those modules effect it in that way?

if you can, please just do this very briefly:
Turn off SSU quickly, then go to your store and get the product link, post it here, I will see if there is something that may get in the way. At the same time, please also get RC5 and upload, I dont think there is any bug that may cause the problem but perhaps some files were messed up and reuploading can help.

Will upgrade to RC5 in about 15min. Have something to do real fast.

Thank you for the very quick response.

I have installed the debug file but get no log. (I have changed the cache to writable but each time I go back to it it is read only) Running WAMP with PHP5 on vista pc for testing purposes localy.

If I get not log I am guessing this means no issue identified. The page is not blank it is the product lising page but the heading changes to that of the product clicked on.

I have reloaded your files just incase I had missed one on install. but still the same issue.

I removed the wrong file during updating, please download the package and again and re-upload admin folder only

I have jus tried your mod on fresh local install of 1.3.8 - works perfectly.

I have then ttried to install on a local copy of my live site - 1.3.7 Seem to have a small problem when I try to load a product page the product name shows but the rest of the product page does not change and I am left with the product listing page.

Is there a small tweak needed for version 1.3.7. - I have not upgraded my live site as I need to have a 3rd party link to my accounts package working and I have not got to testing this with current 1.3.8 version.

Hence would like to get you latest version of SEO URL working with the 1.3.7 version
