red flag Using Meta Tags in a Database???

Hi. I'm very new to meta tags so please bare with me.

I was wondering if anyone knows or has tried using meta tags in a database/spreadsheet format to download it into order entry management software, similar to Order Power. Simply put, sometimes order information along with shipping information comes to us from outside sources (webstores, phone calls from a different call center, etc.) and all of these orders are put into a database and e-mailed to us but we need to find a simpler way to import it into Order Power which is our order entry management software.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

Default Re: Using Meta Tags in a Database???

I had a related issue - but I'm not familiar with the Order Power thing you talk about.

I needed to load up all the meta tags and do not have the advance version of EasyPopulate, which I believe does this.

So I used PHPMyAdmin to manually insert the tags directly into the database using a SQL query.

You appear to need the opposite - an EXPORT of meta tags.

If you are comfortable with MySQL and you have phpMyAdmin installed on your server, then you can EXPORT the relevant tables in Excel format - or other format (phpMyAdmin is really great!).

Once in Excel (or your chosen format), you can probably do what you need to do.
