    help question Going Live?

    I know there is a tutorial about how to move up the files to the root directory in order to go live. I have read them several times and I still do not understand. Is anyone willing to help me? I need it in plain english exactly how to do it. I would like to go live this weekend. Thanks. I need to go from www.sexysultrylingerie.com/zencart to www.sexysultrylingerie.com.

    1) Move everything from the /zencart folder to the root (probably public_html).

    2) Edit the admin/includes/configure.php and includes/configure.php to eliminate any reference to /zencart.

    Just keep in mind that if your admin/includes/configure.php says something like

    Code:
      define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/zencart/admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/zencart/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/zencart/admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/zencart/')
    You should change it to

    Code:
      define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/admin/');
      define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

    i am having a spot of bother with this as i set up using /shop and i have done the tutorial and read above but i still can't get into my admin area which was:

    http://www.canvas-style-art.co.uk/shop/admin/login.php

    i am presuming that all i take off is the /shop/ bit and it should work again as long as all the files are updated with the new path, still no joy, anyone help?

    cheers

    You must remove all references to /shop in admin/includes/configure.php and includes/configure.php. Check my previous post.
