FCKeditor Plugin 2.5

When I edited the contact_us page using the subject version of the editor, the updated text was placed in \includes\languages\english\html_includes instead of \includes\languages\english\html_includes\MYTEMPLATE, which is where the htmlarea editor places its updates.

Just noting this as it might confuse others as well.

I have FCKeditor v2.6.4.1 installed - but it does not seem to be "active."

I changed my html editor choice under My Store to FCKeditor but when I go to confirm, HTMLarea still comes up?

Any ideas? Thank you.

Hav you logged out and in again to allow the change in default to take effect?

Yes, I have now, and still not "active"

Also, I now seem to be missing the Product Descrition's text area and all of its WYSIWYG buttons for editing.

Any help suggestions? Thanks for your help.

After completing your suggestion, I used my ftp program to confirm that all files were uploaded and there lied in the problem. Somehow I missed about 7 files that were right next to each other. Anyway, uploaded, verified and now it works and is active. Thanks for your help.

BTW, great readme file, much better than most - clear and organized, step by step instructions are clear and precise. Great job!

Hi!

I'm using ZC 1.3.8 and just installed FCKeditor. When I try to edit any page I get my 404 error page inside the editor's space.

I'm running my ZC in spanish so my path for pages is includes/languages/spanish/html_includes/... I have the feeling that the problem is for this reason.

I'll appreciate any help

Still trying to fix this problem, I need to add this info.
My ZC is running under a subdomain www.store.mydomain.com and the ZC root folder is mydomain.com/store

Hi again,

I tried to add a new product, but I cannot edit te info cause instead of the editor I got my 404 page and a warring note:
Warning: Missing argument 1 for FCKeditor::__construct(), called in /home/mysite/public_html/store/admin/includes/modules/product/collect_info.php on line 413 and defined in /home/mysite/public_html/store/admin/includes/fckeditor_php5.php on line 148

Please help!

I see someone posted this question last year, but haven't found the answer yet. With FCK Editor 2.6, I can upload an image but the 'browse server' just sends me to a page not found error. Has anyone encountered this and a solution for it?


Is it something to change within the editor files ,the .htaccess file, or is a problem outside of the editor? Old version of the editor didn't have a problem with this, but I'd like to stay up to date on versions if possible.
