what I need to do is set the shipping up so that all the items in the store, that the first item shipping be 12 dollars the second item be 14 dollars the third 16 dollars per zone and so on, see my dope shipper charges one price to ship anywhere in the US, and I have the US set up as a zone, and being stupid I can't figure out how you would do this?
anyone have any ideas on how to setup a shipping module or get the right shipping module to do what I need?

Set up the Per Item module with $10 handling and $2 per item.
