Nochex payment status Pending not Processing

Hi,
We’ve had PayPal set up to take our payments for some time now which is working fine, roughly about two weeks ago we installed Nochex, this is all working fine except when somebody makes a payment instead of the payment going to processing is goes to pending, this is a real pain as I have to manually set the payment to processing before the customer can download there items,

These are the setting that we have in the control panel,

Payment Zone
--none--

Set Pending Notification Status
Processing [2]

Set Order Status
Processing [2]

Sort order of display.
0

Debug Mode
Off

Status Live/Testing
Live


Can anybody give any advice on where were going wrong?

As well as the above problem if a customer pays using a PayPal eCheque it’s not showing up in the admin at all, so I haven’t a clue what they are buying!!!

Any ideas?

Hi,

Problems related to setting the order status are usually located in the nochex callback handler.

It would help if u could turn on debug mode (set to Log & email) in the admin area

admin->modules->payment->nochex

Also status updates should also add a comment to the order like

Nochex payment of .... received at ... with transaction ID ...

Can u confirm that.

Once u have some debug emails(or lack of them). let us know an we can try and work out from that what is going wrong.

Hi,

Im having the same problem. I get the confirmation that the payment has been received. The updates show the comment that the payment is received aswell, but it still marks it as pending which is really quite disturbing.

Any advice?

Really sorry for not getting back sooner but we have only just sorted out this problem,

My web designer installed the new version of Zen cart and as far as I can see the Nochex payments are now ok,

The only thing I’m not to sure about is the way we’ve had to set it up,

Instead of setting the pending notification status to pending (1) we have had to set it to processing (2)

Can anybody see this as being a problem or will it be ok,

I know it’s different with PayPal because people can pay by eCheque so the pending then comes into action but when people pay by Nochex it comes strait from there credit card,

As far as the eCheque are concerned we haven’t had any since we’ve upgraded so I can’t comment on that, I’ll let you know how it goes,

No its not a problem. I will do as you said and set the pending to processing. Its just annoying for some reason :)

Would love if a fix came out for this in the future though.
