Every product is out of stock??

When any product is added to the shopping cart it is saying this product is out of stock how do I fix this?

I thought this would be done when first adding my products, the options are

Product Qty Minimum:
Product Qty Maximum: 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units:
Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: Yes No

Im not sure what these all mean how do I give a product a qty of 10 before it says out of stock??

The Minimum, Maximum and Units refer to how the Product can be purchased ...

The defaults are:
Minimum: 1
Maximum: 0
Units: 1

Unless you are selling Products such as Minimum 6 in Units of 2, example:
Quantity: 6, 8, 10, 12, etc.

there is no need to touch the defaults on these ...

If you want 10 in stock then you need to put in the quantity for:
Products Quantity: 10

along the same lines, what if there is no "stock" required and therefore im never out of stock, how do i change that setting?

If you sell items and do not need to keep stock, you can tell Zen Cart not to subtract stock when it's sold and not to check stock levels. To do this:

Admin->Configuration->Stock

• Check stock level = false
• Subtract stock = false

Now just give each product plenty of stock (say 100) and it's always In Stock.
