    Default American Express issues

    I have got the American Express module turned on and a customer just now had his card charged on his end(we had a conference call with AMEX) but on my end it declined and authorize.net declined due to card code not matching.

    What the heck is up with that?

    Anyone have an idea about this?

    Thanks Kim.

    Doesnt help and authorize.net had me wait 30 minutes on hold to tell me its my problem.

    I have it turned on in credit cards in admin.

    Anyone else been having trouble lately with Amex and have a clue as to what I can do?

    Talked to authorize.net again and they said this is an issue between Authorize.net amd AMEX. Auth rep told me to make sure to click off the is not processed value and you will not have any issues in the future.

    Card Code Settings Help
    Select the conditions for which the Payment Gateway should reject a transaction when the Card Code submitted does not match the value on file with the customer's credit card company.
    Reject Transaction If Card Code value...
    XDoes NOT Match (N)
    Is NOT Processed (P)
    Should be on card, but is not indicated (S)
    XIssuer is not certified or has not provided encryption key (U)

    Customer reordered and the order went through like butter.
