Quantity Price Breaks

certain items in our catalog our priced at base prices that decreased with quantity puchased. a $4.00 dollar item may for example decrease to $3.35 per when buying over 3 and even lower when buying more. what would be the best way to go about this?

You would want to look at the Products Price Manager ... either click the S on the Product Listing or use the menu for Catalog ... Product Price Manager ... and locate your Product ...

Next hit the EDIT ...

You will then see the:

Add 5 Blank Qty Discounts:
Add 5 Blank Discount Qty
All 0 Quantity Discounts will be removed when Updated

Now complete the Table by selecting from the 2 dropdowns how to base the price and setting the values ...

You can have an unlimited number of Discounts on a per Product basis ...
