IMMEDIATE HELP PLEASE - AMEX not being recognized! (SecurePay)

I have been accepting V/MC/AMEX/D credit cards using a different shopping cart, so I know i'm set up to take them.

I have my Zen-Cart configured to take all 4 cards. I'm using the Secure Pay module.

When customers enter an AmEx account number, they are getting an error:
The Credit Card Number does not match the Credit Card Type.

I try my own AmEx and by golly I get the same message!

Where is this verification done, and how can I change it so that AmEx is recognized as AmEx?

V/M/D all work just fine....

I forgot to mention - I am using Zen 1.3.7.

Did you check the settings in the Configuration ... Credit Cards ... and mark it that you accept American Express?

Yes, absolutely. Value = 1, just like for the other 3 cards.

Again, sorry for the cross post - I didn't realize there was a forum for community-added payment modules till after I posted here.

I have got the American Express module turned on and a customer just now had his card charged on his end(we had a conference call with AMEX) but on my end it declined and authorize.net declined due to card code not matching.

What the heck is up with that?

Anyone have an idea about this?

The securepay mod has deficiated, securepay has changed how they are charging cards and unfortunately the one you have has not been fixed to meet the new way of the glitch being fixed with the old mod.

You can use their authnet translator by editing the authnet mod in zencart.
