UPS Shipping estimates incorrect

Please HELP... I am new using Zen Cart. I have read many of the posts regarding UPS shipping estimates being way under. I have had the same problem. I believe my problem stems from the estimate being from just total weight not taking into consideration the number of items purchased.

My items are large enough that each will ship in a seperate box but not being over UPS size restriction. Example: 2 items each weighing 14 lbs but on the customer invoice under the shipping it showed 1 @ 28 lbs which I am sure that is how UPS quoted the price.

How can I fix Zen Cart?

Set your max shipping weight much lower.

That does not work either because it will then divide any one item that weighs more than set weight into multiple boxes (I tried lowering to 25 lbs.) We have items that can weigh up over 100 lbs which would not ship UPS.

I just need it to ship qty boxes at shipping weight in Zen Cart.
