I am looking at 2checkout to deal with card payments, plus we dont need to buy an ssl certificate, but is there any better deals out there without paying the rip off charges to banks etc.

We have the ceon module for offline card details collection, google checkout is ok but alot of messing about with hosting companies, such as siteground where they want $60 extra for ssl and ip, for each account.

Unless someone knows of a low cost hsoting company that does all we need for Zen Cart, Oscommerce, creloaded etc.

There is a 2CheckOut Payment Module for Zen Cart you can download from the Payment Modules Download Page.

Basically, when using 2checkout your clients payments are handled on their website and your clients would fill in their credit card information on a 2checkout page. Thus, you do not need to have SSL installed on your website. In any case, visitors take a secured website much better than a non-secured website and it is decisive for them to purchase from your website.
