Running 1.38a

I have a client who has some orders not getting ligged by ZC. The payment comes through on Paypal but noting back at ZC. I installed the Paypal IPN viewer mod and it shows the order (I can post it if it would help) but it does not show up in the new orders nor does it send out the confirmation email. Since this is a mix of download and print store, this is really bad.

Also, it does not happen with all orders. This is what thows me the most. It seems almost random. Is it a Paypal issue? A failure to return the IPN notification? That would be a major problem for Paypal.

Any help please?
