Virtual products - shipping and quantity issues

In a new ZC setup I need to have store products that don't have any shipping details or costs (we're selling a service) but I don't understand how to do it, and have a number of warnings. Here are my current settings:


SETTING: Product is Virtual: Yes
Warning: This product is marked - Free Shipping and Skips Shipping Address
No shipping will be requested when all products in the order are Virtual Products

SETTING: Always Free Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping
Warning: Yes makes the product - Free Shipping, Shipping Address Required
Free Shipping Module is required when all products in the order are Always Free
(freeshipper is the only shipping module enabled)

SETTING: Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box
Warning: Does not show Quantity Box, Default to Qty 1
(Actually I think this warning is OK for my use?)

Also, I want to eliminate all of the 'Out of stock' and 'Quantity in stock' messages.

Services should be marked as Virtual YES and Always Free Shipping NO as the Virtual Products already skip the checkout_shipping ...

Marking both will confuse the shipping ...
