Missing Customers Phone Numbers

I'm missing my phone numbers from customers. They're missing in my DB so I'm sure it's not being entered properly. When I test run the form to sign up as a customer Zen cart does not allow me to complete registration without a phone number. And from here the process works fine and my test phone number is entered. So I'm wondering where it is breaking down, If there is a way customers are by passing this initial sign up page. I looked at "Customer phone numbers missing from invoice" and checked those two files even though I'm sure this isn't my problem.

I don't really have any mods that would interfere with this process. I pretty much use PayPal Express Checkout for check out... Thank you...
