So I installed Zen-Cart and have bumped around the backend, but I would like some guidance, is there a users manual I can download in my install, or is my only option to buy the one advertised on the website?

Yes. On this site you can find a book. Just Look on the top of this page and click the link Got the book.
or you could just start by clicking on the tutorials/FAQ tab and read the info to get started.

The online faq and wiki can be helpful if you dont want to buy the book, and the forum is a huge source of information. Learn how to search ^^.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
