Product Customization Options

I am looking into selling a customizable product.

Please let me know if the following is possible with this platform:


Have a product over view, however when a product is selected you do NOT add it to the shopping cart. Instead, you are lead to a common customization page. On this page you can choose among several options (at least one option in each category must be selected).

After this there will be another page where one must enter measurements that must be saved under each user. This could be done with drop down menus for example, but it must be saved with the user.

When this is done you can add the product to the cart.


Is this possible? If so how do i do it?
If not, what platform can I use? Do I really have to get it hardcoded in?

Can be done but the sequence is different...

Create the product > add attributes > for options

Add attribute for measurements

add to cart
