Tell a friend in text Want in HTML

Hello All,

Please is there a simple change in the backend I am not seeing to get the
TELL A FRIEND emails to send in HTML and not just plain text.

I would like it to look like the email that comes in to the admin email
as a copy.

Do you have "Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails" enabled in the Admin?

Is the customer account with which you're testing set to receive HTML emails?

Yes is set to MIME, and I am sending to myself now, I recieve both,
the admin email is HTML and looks good, the customers is only text..

If the email address is an existing customer that the email is being sent to ... and that customer has asked for HTML then that customer will get the email in HTML format if the MIME is turned on, as kuroi has indicated ...

However, if the customer is sending via the Tell A Friend to Grandma or Aunt Suzy and Grandma is not a current customer, she will get TEXT email ... and if Aunt Suzy is a current customer but said she wanted TEXT emails then she is still going to get TEXT emails vs HTML ...

So you have several scenarios here to test to see who gets TEXT or HTML emails ...
