re-write of customers.php form problem

Hi all,

I am modifying the "add customers from admin" mod, and have renamed all files with a different prefix.

once I get this to work ok, I want to use these customers to add a custom order too.

I succeeded with that no problem, but I also would like to add 2 fields, and I am having problems with my fields not being checked properly for errors.

Upon submitting of the form, the 2 entries pass even without any data input, and if there is data input, it is not check for format and not passed on to the database for the 'date' entry.

There are no error messages upon submitting the form.

I know it is my feeble attempt for data checking that causes the problem, I hope someone can help.
