SSL Error "There is a problem with this website's security certificate" - 1and1

Hi,

I am at the end of trying to get 1 and 1 to sort out my SSL issue after 6 hours on the phone over 2 days im hoping someone here will be kind enough to help me.

I have got a geo trust certificate for www.nectarina.co.uk (my site), however when i try to check out i get the following error: "The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. There is a problem with this website's security certificate"

Initially i thought this was because the certificate was issued to nectarina.co.uk and not www.nectarina.co.uk however i have now changed this but and still getting the same error message.

1 and 1 customer support have no idea how to solve this and i am wondering if there is something to with my zen set up?

The site is still under construction so i normally leave it on maintenance, however i will leave it open to see if anyone can help.

The Cert 'was' issued to: nectarina.co.uk

You will need to remove the 'www.' in both config files for SSL connections.

Thanks for this - i have chagned the certificate to include the www. if this matches the config file should it not work also?

If it still doesn't work then you need to check with 1&1 to make sure "they" used the correct Domain name for your SSL Cert.

I am HAving the same problem with my Nifty tips Blog. Each time I try to open it, An error message with Dark red window appears which says -"The server's security certificate is not yet valid!"..
