Order to pick at location

I want my customers to order and pay on the site but to have the option to pick up at local retail location. Is this possible and if so how?

Here's a scenario. In my distribution set up, I would want to have customers be ably to choose to have things they ordered (comic books and CDs) at local stores, but still have the customer pay to have us ship it there. possible?

Store pickup has an associated "shipping cost" which can be set in admin.

yea, it's a static charge no matter how much or what it weighs.

I have another way to set it up (have the list of ship-to stores available for them to enter in their account, then they just ship their orders there) but I would LOVE to have it more "pick and choose" like a store locator, when they get to shipping it asks them if they want to pick up at a local store, and gives them option based on their zip code.

Perhaps too much to ask yet?
