Reward Point Mod beta now available

I'll have a look at this. The Rewards Redeem is derived from the Rewards Points Earned module. Possibly there is a conflict somewhere.

And the conflict is in the check function of ot_rewards_points.php it's refering to the Reward Points Redeem mod. The new version will be in the next upload but if you can't wait, I've attached it here. Just copy the file to includes/modules/order_total.

did you manage to get time to see if your module can work with mysql v4.0.24 as my host is not willing up upgrade the server database version

That did the trick. I gather the reward points box in the shopping cart doesn't show until you actually have points earned?

Watch out for that- There are now two shop cart sideboxes. The standard one and one called "shopping cart with reward"

I can just use, one correct?

Also a question or maybe a suggestion. Is there away that the merchant can their own catalog of products, customers can redeem their points for, instead of having their complete inventory available to redeem points?

Yes, you don't have to use both. As far as being able to select which categoris give points, I think you can set that up now. You can define different ratios for different categories now. I would guess, though I haven't tried it, that if you just put 0 in for the ratio that no points would be earned.

I'm sure Andy will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, you only need to use one.

The selective redeem item option is on the list of things to do.
