SEO URL Contribution

I am using a SEO URL mod or Contribution...

my question is:

when you place the mouse over the link it shows
as normal non SEO URL, but when you click
on the link, it shows as a SEO URL in the browswer
window... This is very confusing, so which is it? what
is the search engine actually going to pick up?
