Default Problem encountered while transfering domain

Right now I am transfer my domain to another hosting company. I encountered one problem regarding the zencart admin control. I have a temporary address setup
to test my zencart before I actually transfer the dns. Whenever i try to access the back end admin section it link to the admin section of my current live site. The link on the temporary site also link itself to the live site as well.
The new hosting company is using Pleak control, t preview my new zencart perfectly fine but redirect the admin section and the link to my live site. Can someone help me out with this one? Anyone encountered similiar problem before?

You most likely need to edit the domain in the 2 configure.php files to your temp location

    Default Problem Transfering Server

Right now we have a live site up and running with our previous hosting company.
We already registered with a new hosting company under the same domain name.
What we are doing right now is trying to setup a temporary website for testing in the new server before the actual dns transfer.

We encountered a problem with the Flesk control panel provided by the new hosting company. There is a preview function that allow you to preview the main page. The first page looks perfectly fine, but all the link is redirected to our current website. We are aware of the Http_server address set in includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php is still directed it to the current live site. We contact the technical support personnel of the new hosting company, but they are unable to provide us any support regarding this issue. Is anyone familiar with Plesk control , that can help us out on this issue? I would be much appreciated if someone could share their experience on that.

    Thank you,
    Mack

The new hosting company did not provide us a temporary domain for us to use.

If you have a dedicated IP with your new account you can use this in place of a domain name

    Hi,
I have exactly same problem, and we don't have dedicate ip.
We can preview the new site by https://hosting_company.com:8443/sit...ur_donmain.com
, but all interlinks will go to the live site.
    When I try ttps://hosting_company.com:8443/sitepreview/http/our_donmain.com/admin
it'll go to the live site's admin page as well.

I'm just wondering if it's a Plesk's limitation, or my hosting company dont' want to help. Is there anyway can access the right link for testing purpose?

    Thanks
    Eric

Without an IP to use in configuration none that I am aware of...
Most eCommerce stores need a dedicated IP anyway for using SSL
