Can we get OSC templates to work in Zen cart 1.3.7.1

I have a bunch of OSCommerce template some of them ar pretty nice I have copied the dir into the /includes/templates dir but I can not see them in the tools->template Selection->edit Is there more that has to be done or will these OSC templates even work with Zen Cart?

Short answer? No, not without major modifications.

I got some of it working by creating a template_info.php file but then there are a bunch of other things missing but at least a piece of it comes up but it should not be to difficult if I knew Zen cart do you know what else has to be done. there are a bunch of directories in the root folder ie

• admin
• download
• images
• includes
• install
• pub

Do these need to be moved around? What do you think?

Zen Cart's approach to templates have diverged to the extent that it would be much easier to re-build the templates from scratch using the same graphics and buttons than to try to "convert" them.

I think your right. All the separate files are not coming up and to get this working may take quite a bit of time. Oh well some of these are pretty hot. To bad Zen Cart doesn't have this kind of stuff yet. I'm sure in time they will.

Are these Templates freely available? If yes, please provide a link / URL where they can be seen. If they are as 'hot' as you say perhaps someone will take the time to code them for Zen Cart.
