need help from SHOP PRO's...

I have hired a template coder to design a new template for my
zen-cart. he is asking what features do you want....?

Can you pro's on what i need in my template? What is
important. I am not looking to load the cart down with junk
as I think this is a real distraction to buyers....

He is designed a new template, so what features do i need?

You are asking something real hard here, basically the shop owners have in their mind how they want their stores to look like already

See the showcase on the top? Check some of those.
And just surfing around, checking famous web stores... Note down the features you like (navigation style, color, structure, etc....)

As for features, well what do you want to provide ur customers with?
Wishlist?
Easy re-order?
etc...

I am not to familer with zencart, features, options... I have been looking
some, but one taste to one maybe not be my taste, ive have yet to
find anything I really link...

I do want customers to look at products with ease, and easy check out, I know some carts are loaded down with useless junk...

who knows, i just do not have the experience to say what I need or want.

The difference between this and the showcase you were pointed to earlier is that these are not real shops; the content is lorem ipsum so you can compare templates more easily.
