shopping procedure too long?

Hello to all
I found the shopping procedure in zencart is too long.
It takes 3 steps to complete the shopping.
Isn't it possible to do all the shopping procedure in one step by skipping one or more steps like skipping step 1 and combining step 2 and 3 onto same page?

Somewhere there is an add-on for a one page checkout but I am not sure how it works nor if this is what you are looking for nor where it is ... but should be searchable on the forum ...

I was just thinking about this... I accept paypal, I think all this does is
detour the buyer even more from buying if they have to go through
a lot of non-sense to get the product....It would be a turn off for me
if i had to go through 3-5 steps to get something, and sometimes ive
even given up and left... all you need is click to add to cart, then check-out...
