I am very very new to Zen-Cart and to this level of php, coding, etc. I did purchase the book which has been helpful, but is general regarding the issues I have below.) I have been looking for this question (because I'm sure I can't possibly be the first one), and I can't find it... so please accept my apologies if this is in a dozen places and thank you so very much for taking the time to help me.

I have several different shipping issues and since I currently dropship most of my products, I cannot simply use the various modules (or at least I don't think I can).
  • I need to charge 10% of retail for UPS shipping with a minimum charge of $7.95 per order. I found instructions on setting up a percentage, and that is working, but I don't know how to impose the minimum charge.
  • I would like to provide the option for DHL Rush, which works the same way, 25% of retail with a minimum charge per order of $20.00.
  • Additionally, I would like to offer shipping Internationally, but the shipping fees are higher - 25% of retail with a minimum charge per order of $20 - rush shipping is not an option.
  • Lastly regarding shipping, I have a few products that are very heavy and must be sent via freight -- so the above percentage of price would not work. What is the best way to handle this? Should I simply add the additional freight cost into the product price or is there a way to impose a handling fee on only those special case products?

One other issue -- images are not showing up in the admin section of zen-cart (i.e., when I add a product image and upload the image, when I preveiw the product I get a message that the image is not available.) However, when I view the actual web-site, the product images are all there. Any ideas what I could do to fix it?
