Image in Pop-Up Box

I have images that show when you click on a button so that you can see what designs are available. The images that show up are smaller than what I want. They are full size and if you click on them they go to full size but if you just open the new window they are small.

Is there a way to force them to open in the new window at full size rather than the small size and have to right click them to see the the actual size?

What you see is the new window with a small image (scaled 43% more or less), however if you click on the image you will see the full size.

I believe this is an IE image resize feature you are talking about.

If so this is a browser setting that everyone may gave set different, so I don't think you can do to much with it.

Someone else may have more information.

The same happens in Mozilla so I don't think that it is only limited to IE. I'm probably wrong about it but I hope I'm wrong and able to make it do what I to have it do.

You are correct, it is a feature in both IE and Mozilla. From your browser go to tools --> internet options --> click the advanced tab --> then under the multimedia section uncheck the Enable Automatic Image Resizing option.

This is browser specific though, so I do not believe you can over-ride a clients setting of this.

If you are wanting the image to open in a 'new popup window'....
It sounds like perhaps what you need to do is adjust the dimensions of the pop up window to display the full image for that specific image file.

I'm very new to Zen Cart. Putting together first store.

My browser, windowsXP FF v2.0.0.12 does not do correct dimensions for popup image window. The IE works fine, it pops up and then seems to resize correctly. I think this is JS part of the template somewhere? Would someone please advise which file is defining the JS windowPopup() function which should have that line describing the popup window. It likely states size width height values (or perhaps does not and that's the problem?). I think it is poping up at minimum allowable window size and then some JS function is being called to resize (but FF is not resizing)? The IE seems to work as expected. Suspecting this is part of the template?
