My Downloads not working

Okies.... where do I begin? LOL

My host just moved me to a new platform. And now, my downloads dont work. I am suspecting that it has something to do with their new configuration, coz it worked fine before. When I go in and disable download by redirect, it will allow me to download the zip files, but when its done downloading, it says cannot download the zip and that it was reset, so it never finishes. I also tried to delete out the htaccess, but that didnt do any good, it still wont download from the folder directly. (Pub and cache as well as my download folder had all permissions set to 777 - I changed the download folder back to 755 when turning off redirect didnt work)

I dont know what to do, but my store has been down for days. I have my host looking into it, but they are taking their sweet old time about doing so, and Im losing money. Thot Id ask, as maybe someone way more knowledgeable about this might have a better idea as to what could be doing it. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

Do you mean the product(virtual product) wont download after a customer has made the purchase?

Yeah... when you click on the download button in your account, no matter what product it is, they get "page cannot be displayed"

Can you right click on the download button and then copy the url and paste here? (without your site name if you want)

Thats one I did on my testing acct. But instead of downloading the zip, I just get web page not found. And LOL Im not worried... its digital content and unless you guys use Poser, its prolly more or less useless.

I dunno if this will help at all, but the htaccess file in my download folder says this:

#prevent directory browsing -- for security
IndexIgnore */*

AuthType Basic
AuthName "No access"
AuthUserFile .htnopasswd
AuthGroupFile /dev/null
Require valid-user

I dunno know much about htaccess or changing them, but thot it might be relevant.
