Hi

Here are my settings:

South Africa is 14% all over and i dont ship outside of South Africa

okay, if you still have the problem described I would focus on the Zone settings in admin. The settings you have in the screen shot should display taxes all over the place, unless the system thinks it's not a taxable item or that the billing address is not in the defined zone with 14% tax. It seems like Zones hasn't been set up correctly to tax for all addresses in SA.

Hi

When i set up the site i never used zones as it was just one country

When a client creates his profile, alsmost all of them will select South Africa as a country

So let me post a image of my zone quick.

Let me try and understand the Zones concept

In zones, I have my country
South Africa
Then I need to have each area or province listed
What does the TAX look at when calculating?
Is it area or province or Country
If country then this should be working as all my clients register from South Africa
If Area's or province then im really stuck

When editing my shipping and setting the zone to TAX, then shipping option gets removed from the selection when checking out
