Changing the green bars!

Hi there,

Im looking to change the color of the bars to purple rather than green, this is where catogories products etc are.

I can't seem to find where abouts i can do this? are they images? Or are they part of the style sheet.

As you can see im not massivly clued up on this.

I'm not sure how easy it is for you to make changes yourself. I always use a template which can be downloaded, installed and then changes the whole look and feel.

All the colours are set in templates/the_template_you_are_using/css/stylesheet.css

When i go into the stylesheet & look for #003D00

Which is the green colour for the bars, it does not find it.

the green bars are an image - look for tile_back.gif

The style sheet is using an image (tile_back.gif) for the colour. You could change this image from green to whatever colour you want.
