Uninstalling Admin Profile

Hi All

I haven't logged in to a shop for a while - it has been working fine. However, someone had problems purchasing and now emails have started playing up. So I tried to log back in and couldn't. I reset the admin password but still can't get anywhere because I cannot see the full toolbar. It seems that the admin profile module has stripped the admin user of any privileges. Is there an easy way of fixing this or uninstalling the module please?
