Where is the code that opens the images on the item description page? I want to add something to the code and before I spend days searching the folders for the correct line of code in one file that is probably in the last folder I would think to look, I figured I'd ask here...... Thanks.

It is in the YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php
or
TEMPLATE_DEFAULT/templates/tpl_modules_main_product_image.php
depending if you are using overrides or not.

Well, that wasn't the file I needed to edit, but thanks for the help.... The file I needed to edit was in the templates folder anyway....
