Multiple flat modules? Is it possible?

Hi All,

I need setting a few different flat rates with different delivery options:

1) All USA Ground: $8 per shipment + $1.50 per item; handling $2.00
2) All USA 2nd day air: $16 per shipment + $2.70 per item; handling $3.00
3) All USA next day air: $30 per shipment + $3 per item; handling $4.50
4) Canada: $15 per shipment + $4 per item; handling $4.00

How can I do this? The first thing that comes to my mind is to make clones of the flat rate module, call them accordingly (Ground, 2nd day air, next day etc) and enable all of them. Obviously it would need quite a bit of coding...

Are there any better solutions for this?

I mean clones of the "per item" module (not flat rate!)

The basic concept of cloning is the same ...

Do a search on:
clone flat
clone item

and there a numerous walk thrus on doing these ...
