HoverBox 3 - Official Thread

Hi guys

I came across the hoverbox 3 addon and thought it was the perfect tool for my website. However, the only page I could find with a download for it gave me a broken .zip folder. Does anyone know where I can get it?

P.s. This is my first post in the Zen Cart community. I'm a noob to Zen Cart but this tool is incredible!

I had the same problem so in winrar I used the repair rar and it fixed it.

I followed everything to the letter of the install file and I a no frame frame pic with white bar garbled everywhere, also there is no close box showing up. I don't how it works for everyone else this has got me baffled

ok I got it to work finally I had to copy all the folders in all my templates but it just doesn't work with ie8! When clicking on the pic it opens up in a new page just sitting up there in the top left hand corner which you have to hit the back button to go back to the site.

Why is that, luckily I've created a demo site where I do all my tests before doing anything in my real site.

As much as I want to use this add on I just can't afford it to muck my viewers around.

Is there a work around for this

If only IE explorer was banned from the internet world how much better off would we be

Have smbody solved the problem with IE8 bug yet?

Does anyone have a working copy of this module? I have downloaded it from the creators website and I'm getting an error that the file is either an unknown format or damaged and wont let me extract it. I have tested it a while ago with 1.3.7 and it worked great and wanted to test with 1.3.8 but I have misplaced the DL files. I see that there is a browser issue has anyone resolved it?

I found out that my winrar software wasn't working correctly after a new windows update so now I can extract the files but has anyone found a solution to the IE8 issue?

i just downloaded the Hoverbox zip and it says it corrupted, is there a good link for this??

It happened to me as well and I downloaded the winrar trial and it unziped. For some reason after the last windows update my winrar quit working... Im not going to use untill someone finds a fix for the IE issue though. There is a module called lightbox that is the same thing and its in the downloads section im trying that.

Hey All,

Just a question -

I'm having an issue with HoverBox and IE. I notice that somebody's posted an issue above, but this seems to be different.

Product info page:

Firefox - Works fine.
Chrome - Works fine.
IE8 - Stops loading past the header.
IE7 - Stops loading past the header, I also get an "internet explorer cannot display this page" error message popping up.

If I view the source of the IE pages, all the code is there, right down to the </body>

Not sure what's going on here. Anyone experienced this at all?
